Abstract

In the SCOUT trial, Carl Llor and colleagues compared single-dose fosfomycin with three active comparators in 768 women with uncomplicated cystitis.1 The headline conclusion that fosfomycin's first-line role “should be re-evaluated” outruns the data on three counts.
