[Comment] Early prevention of multimorbidity for those with severe mental illness
Abstract
People with severe mental illness experience markedly poorer physical health,1 which, to a large degree, contributes to their substantially shorter life expectancy.2 Although the presence of single physical comorbidities is well-documented, the simultaneous occurrence of multiple physical diseases (ie, physical multimorbidity) remains poorly understood in this population.
